Whether you have been around church your entire life or this is your first peek into it, Carterville First United Methodist Church has something for you. We hope you will choose to join us as together we grow in our understanding of God's grace and share His love in our community.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Our Worship Service is approximately an hour.
- Primarily traditional worship style with occasional contemporary special music.
- Engaging, thought provoking teaching.
- Warm and inviting welcome to all.
PARKING
Main parking lot is behind the church and a few accessible spots are located in front of the building.
SHOW UP AS YOU ARE
At CFUMC there is no dress code. Wear whatever makes you comfortable!
BRING YOUR CHILDREN
Children are always welcome in the service. A child friendly room, called the Refuge, is available for parents to stay with their child and watch the service via livestream. On the first Sunday of the month, Kingdom Kids (children's church) is offered during the service for children ages 3-6.
FELLOWSHIP
Coffee/tea and pastries are available each week before and after church, in the Fellowship Hall.
